Palworld Rules & Guidelines

Last updated 4 months ago

This page documents the rules for our Palworld server.

For the global rules, .

Application Requirements

For the safety of our players and their digital content the Palworld server is whitelisted and you must apply to join.

To apply, you must fulfil the following requirements:

  • You must be a member of our Discord server.

  • Acceptable track record on our network (generally fewer than 3 punishments)

  • Have read the below rules and guidelines

If you are banned from the Palworld server for any period of time you will have to reapply once your ban expires or is appealed.

Bans from the Minecraft Survival area also apply to the Palworld server.

Palworld Rules

By applying to join the Palworld server you agree that you will follow these rules at all times. Failure to comply may lead to your account being restricted from accessing the server.

Punishments within this document only extend to the Palworld server and you will still retain access to other parts of the network unless otherwise specified.

If you've been punished and would like to appeal, .

Class I Offences

1st Offence: Warning 2nd Offence: Removal from whitelist (User must re-apply) 3rd Offence: 2 week ban If Continued: 1 month ban each time (Unless specified otherwise)

For some class I offences you may be initially issued an informal warning which is not logged. Abuse of this system will likely prevent you from receiving these in the future. Informal warnings will not be issued if you have any previous logged punishments.

Environmental Griefing: Creating builds with the express purpose of interfering with other players' experience. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Walls blocking access to skill fruit trees, alpha pals, etc.

  • Blocking build areas with empty bases or random base parts

  • Placing base parts near other players' bases without permission

Structure decay is disabled as a measure to encourage collaboration and building infrastructure. Abusing this to ruin the environment for others will not be tolerated.

Causing Lag (Unintentional): Placing large amounts of base parts or creating lots of entities that lag the server. Intentionally causing lag is covered under global server rules. “Unintentional” is generally considered things like practical bases and farms however is ultimately at staff discretion.

Gatekeeping: Repeatedly killing players to prevent them from accessing higher level areas.

Class II Offences

1st Offence: Removal from whitelist (User must re-apply) 2nd Offence: 1 month ban 3rd Offence: Permanent ban (Unless specified otherwise)

Illegal PvP: Damaging players or their Pals inside protected areas.

Class III Offences

1st Offence: Permanent ban 2nd Offence: Permanent ban (Non-appealable) (Unless specified otherwise)

Griefing: Intentionally damaging, defacing or altering other players' ingame property without their permission. This includes community builds and anything that is not obviously abandoned.

This still applies even in PvP zones.

Community Guidelines

By following these guidelines you can help keep the server a positive place for everyone!

  • Be nice. Being a general nuisance can get you in trouble for griefing or trolling and won’t make you very popular!

  • Clearly mark what’s yours. Ambiguity helps nobody. Placing a couple signs helps let people know what belongs to you.

  • Give people space. Don’t build your house right next door to someone else’s without asking them first. The world is massive!

  • Claim your base. While griefing is not permitted, due to the nature of multiplayer communities it can be unavoidable. Take measures to keep yourself and your belongings safe.

  • Pick on your own size. While we allow PvP and raiding on high level islands, we ask you be respectful and show mercy towards lower level players.

Honour Rule: Only Breed Caught Pals

Following this rule is optional but widely adopted among our community members and often required for guild membership.

Under this rule, you cannot breed Pals to obtain a Pal that you haven't yet caught in the wild. This is to maintain the prestige and value of Pals native to high level areas.

Elphidran Aqua is an exception to this rule due to being unobtainable without breeding.
