Rules

PreviousHomeNextAbout

Last updated 2 months ago

By joining The Cyanist Empire, you agree that you will follow all of these rules at all times. Failure to comply may lead to your account being restricted from accessing our services.

Any punishment is directed towards both the account itself and the individual who broke the rules at the time. As such, having a friend, family member or anyone else break a rule on your account will still lead to that account being punished.

You are expected to follow the ‘spirit’ of these rules as opposed to the exact wording. As such, there are no ‘loopholes’. Staff members have the final verdict and you are expected to abide by their requests to the same degree as you would to this document.

If you've been punished on any of our servers and would like to appeal, .

The Survival Area has additional rules that apply exclusively within that area.

To view those rules, .

Additional Information

At any class (excluding Serious Offences) staff may instead choose to issue you with a formal Warning instead of the punishment typical of that offence at their discretion. Such instances are decided circumstantially on a case by case basis and are typically only granted on the merit of prior exemplary behaviour or an offence being considered borderline to having been committed.

Lack of knowledge of the rules is not considered a mitigating circumstance.

Records & Expiry

Any moderation action taken against you will be privately logged against your account. Only staff members can see this.

Class I warnings and punishments expire after 6 months and will be removed from your record.

Class II and III warnings and punishments remain on your record permanently.

Punishments are synchronised between all of our servers. Warnings, mutes and bans apply to all platforms.

Appeals

Please note that IP bans cannot be appealed.
