Drop chances vary depending on your level of Fortune, as follows: Unenchanted & Natural Decay - 1.0% Fortune I - 1.5% Fortune II - 2.0% Fortune III - 2.5%
Most fruits restore hunger equal to an apple, with a couple exceptions: - Cherries are equivalent to a melon slice - Poison apples are equivalent to a spider eye, poison included
Fruit Pies
Any fruit (except for the poison apple) can be shapelessly crafted with dough, egg and sugar to create a fruit pie. All fruit pies restore 10 hunger and 8.8 saturation.
In a few cases, the item's name and texture is substituted with a fruit cheesecake where it would be more sensible however these are otherwise identical.
Golden Fruits
Non-apple fruits can be surrounded by golden nuggets to craft a golden variant of that food item, restoring hunger equal to a golden carrot.
Villager Trades
Farmer villagers have had a few of their trades changed to now incorporate the new fruit types. The type of fruit they sell depends on the biome the villager is from:
