Mob Tweaks
Many mobs have been tweaked, primarily with the goal of providing more challenge in the lategame.
Mobs
Blaze: Now has 30 HP. (Does not affect desert blazes)
Wither Skeleton: Now has 40 HP.
Evoker: Now use their totems during raids. To get one for yourself, you'll need to invade a Woodland Mansion or Mage Tower.
Drowned: Can no longer drop tridents. Elder Guardians are the new source for these.
Phantom: No longer spawns in the Overworld, instead encountered in Toxic Heaps and Shadowlands. Phantoms encountered in the End have 40 HP and deal 10.5 damage.
New Mobs
As well as reworked existing mobs, new mobs have been introduced for unique challenges, especially when exploring the deepest parts of the world and the End.
Cave Zombie
Location: Below Y0 Health: 26 Armour: 4 Attack: 6
Zombies encountered in the deepest parts of the world are tougher than those on the surface.
Cave Skeleton
Location: Below Y0 Health: 26 Attack: 4-8 (Bow)
Skeletons encountered in the deepest parts of the world are tougher than those on the surface.
Shade
Location: Deep Dark Health: 40 Attack: 9
Shades are lost souls left to wander eternally in the darkness. These creatures are silent and completely invisible unless brought near a light source.
Shades ensure the Deep Dark does not become a safe haven once sculk shriekers are removed. They despawn when the Warden is summoned.
Enderling
Location: The End Health: 30 Attack: 8-16 (+ Fire) (Bow) Drops: Glowstone Dust, Ender Pearl
Enderlings pose a ranged threat in the End, firing burning arrows from a long distance that inflict blindness.
Enderlings can be encountered anywhere in the dimension except for the central island, but are most commonly found guarding end cities.
They have projectile protection, taking reduced damage from arrows themselves and will teleport away if a player gets too close.
Endersent
Location: End City Health: 200 Attack: 20 (Diamond Axe) Drops: Eye of Ender
The Endersent are guardians of the End dimension, acting as formidable mini-bosses found near End Cities.
Psionic Pulse
Endersent periodically emit a destructive pulse, dealing 10 damage to all nearby players, bypassing armour and shields.
Teleportation
They have the ability to teleport players, taking you out of cover and potentially putting you into dangerous situations.
Bosses
Minecraft's bosses have been buffed to make them more formidable opponents. Prepare well for these battles, as they will test you to the limit.
Elder Guardian
Elder Guardians now drop a shard of Elder Prismarine on death. Three of these shards can be combined to create a trident.
The Wither
The Wither now roughly matches its Bedrock Edition counterpart. It has 600 HP and will spawn Wither Skeletons upon first spawning and upon reaching 50% health.
Whenever it is not at full health, every second the Wither will destroy any block that is not resistant to explosions in a 8x6x8 volume centered on itself.
If trapped in bedrock or another block it cannot break, the Wither will teleport itself downwards to escape.
The Ender Dragon
The Ender Dragon is intended to be tackled as a multiplayer challenge. Attempting to defeat it on your own is ill-advised.
The Ender Dragon battle now features an enhanced arsenal of abilities to test you and your allies. It has 1000 HP and periodically blasts the arena with lightning and spawns various mobs.
The dragon is now immune to explosions, rendering bed and respawn anchor strategies unviable.
End Crystals
Crystals are now indestructible unless the dragon is perched. Cages around end crystals have been upgraded to be no longer easily bypassable via a well placed arrow.
When a crystal is destroyed, all positive status effects are removed from all players in the arena.
Crystals slowly respawn over time, presenting a persistent threat throughout the battle.
Mob Spawns
Over the battle, mobs spawn in response to various triggers.
End Crystal Destroyed: Phantom
End Crystal Respawned: Blaze
Dragon Perched: Enderman
