This page includes planned content for the next season of TCE Survival.
Everything here is subject to change before implementation!
This page is a continuation of the main page. Read that first if you haven't already!
Once you have netherite, you'll be equipped to delve into some of the game's most challenging structures to extract unique resources and items.
Getting to the End is a journey of adventure, unearthing your Minecraft world's history to discover the Stronghold.
This page has been split up into "tiers" of progression. Each contains a checklist of exactly what you need to do and a more detailed overview of how to progress in that tier.
Your main goal at this stage is to craft a Beacon, now required for eyes of ender.
If you haven't already, setting up a steam engine is advisable.
Sheets made from obsidian are required for crafting the Beacon as well as trains.
They are made through sequenced assembly:
Crush obsidian with a crushing wheel. Obsidian is unyielding and it is highly recommended to use a steam engine to speed up the crushing process.
Spout lava onto powdered obsidian. Spouts can be filled using pipes and fluid pumps.
Mechanically press the sheet twice.
Ocean Monuments have been re-envisioned as the new source for the trident.
Drowneds can no longer drop tridents. Instead, each Elder Guardian drops 1 elder prismarine, which are used in a new crafting recipe.
Wither Skeletons will now only drop skulls when killed using a trident. To reduce the grindy nature of farming for skulls, the drop rate has been increased to 12.5% (1 in 8).
The Wither is now a much stronger fight, roughly matching its Bedrock Edition counterpart.
The beacon is an incredibly demanding mechanical recipe. It retains its vanilla abilities but also unlocks new recipe processing options.

The last steps to reaching the End require challenging an Ancient City.
Unlike other maps, the Ancient Explorer Map is stowed away within the map rooms of a Woodland Mansion. These will guide you to the nearest Ancient City.
The Eye of Ender recipe has been replaced with a new item, the Ender Catalyst. This item demands an echo shard on top of the vanilla recipe, requiring you to challenge a city if you want to reach the End dimension.
In case your city happens to run short, the Warden now drops 1-2 echo shards on death.
Throwing certain items into an active beacon beam will now enable new recipes in a process known as Beacon Forging.
Beacon forging an Ender catalyst will create an eye of Ender. Eyes of Ender can be used to locate and activate a stronghold portal as normal.
The Ender Dragon is intended to be tackled as a multiplayer challenge. Attempting to defeat it on your own is ill-advised.
Bed explosion strategies have been patched.
The Ender Dragon battle now features an enhanced arsenal of abilities to test you and your allies.
Cages around end crystals have been upgraded to no longer easily bypassable via a well placed arrow.
Obtain Ancient Explorer Map
Craft Eye of Ender
Defeat Ender Dragon
Once you defeat the Ender Dragon, the outer End features new resources and a brand new tool tier.
Cobalt is a common ore found in the End. Cobalt levitates in the air, unaffected by gravity. Raw Cobalt must be crushed then smelted in a blast furnace.
Cobalt tools have the durability of iron and a mining speed even faster than gold.
Iridium is rarely found buried in end stone at low Y-levels. Throwing raw iridium into a max-level beacon beam will yield iridium.
Iridium and shulker shells can be combined with a totem of undying to create a Voidheart, a totem that will safely teleport you out of the void should you fall in, consumed on use.
Superheated mixing iridium and cobalt will create enderite ingots, a new supreme alloy that can be used to upgrade netherite tools and armour.
Enderite smithing templates can be found in end cities.
The elytra can no longer be boosted using rockets. This is to encourage the use of alternate transport methods including trains, ice roads, and a new optional means of air travel.
Beacon forging 1 echo shard, 4 netherite ingots and 4 enderite ingots together on a max level beacon yields 1 chromatic compound. This interdimensional alloy will be used for advanced air and space technology with the release of Create: Aeronautics. It is available as a 'trophy' item for now.
