Create Tweaks

In line with our own customisations, some changes have been made to Create's config including specific recipes and stress values.

JEI or another recipe indexing mod is strongly recommended to view recipes ingame.

Stress

Basic components such as cogs, gearshifts and gearboxes now generate a small amount of stress, ranging from 0.25-1x RPM. This is to encourage efficient design and add an impact to high gear ratios.

Late-game machines have demanding stress requirements to encourage the use of steam power.

Encased Fans

Bulk processing is now slower than furnaces for smaller quantities of items, however still retains a speed advantage when handling large quantities.

The maximum belt speed can be multiplied by the number of fans you have.

Lava now applies smoking recipes instead of blasting recipes. For bulk blasting, a fueled blaze burner is required.

Loose flames cannot be used for bulk smoking or haunting. All other methods, including campfires, still work.

Minecart Contraptions

Contraptions can no longer be picked up using the wrench. To disassemble a minecart contraption, move it into an unpowered cart assembler.

Trains

Trains now require fuel. Place any container other than an item vault containing a valid fuel item to allow your train to run.

Item vaults can be used to safely transport fuel items without them being consumed.

If you assemble a train without any storage container, you may need to use a wrench to relocate it to a station. Once lined up, control the train and hold space to snap it to the station, allowing for disassembly.

Trains have slightly reduced acceleration however function otherwise normally.
